About

About Gethin

Originally from North Wales, I recently completed an MA in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Sheffield, where I developed stories across TV, radio, online and live journalism on weekly newsdays.

Before that, I did my undergraduate at Cardiff University undergoing a BA in Journalism, Media and Sociology.

My newsroom experience includes placements with BBC News at Broadcasting House in London and Bauer Media in Leeds and Newcastle, where I worked alongside journalists producing content for Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio.

I’m particularly interested in broadcast journalism, video journalism, documentary, current affairs and storytelling built around strong characters.

Alongside journalism, I have experience shooting freelance video projects, live sport and promotional content.

I am a dual British-American citizen and can work in both the UK and United States.
